The early work on Islamic creed by Imam al-Barbahari (al-Hasan ibn Ali al-Barbahari, d. 329/941). The Imam followed the Hanbali madhhab. He wrote this work to educate Hanbalites and this work is strong on methods to identify and refute innovation and deviation.
