The Door to the Expression of the Arabic Language : A General Lexicon. This is a lexicon of expression developed by the Lebanese scholar, Germanus Ibn Farahat (Jarmanus Farhat, 1670-1732). Written at the beginning of the renaissance, to be a general linguistic reference guide to the Arabic language. With later editing and additions of Lebanese language expert Rashid al-Dahdah (1813-1889), when it was originally published under this title in 1849.
