The collection of Forty Hadith by Imam Nawawi has been recognized, accepted, and appreciated by Muslim scholars for the last seven centuries. Its significance lay in the fact that these selected forty Hadith comprise the main essential and fundamental concepts of Islam. And these are the unique Hadith which are the minimum level of knowledge required for every Muslim. Various principles are contained therein such as belief, Muslim ethics, and Fiqh, etc. Thus, it is very important to have a good understanding of these Hadith based on scholarly interpretations. This book provides a simple and practical commentary on the Hadith of Imam Nawawi's collection. About the Author:
Dr. Jamal Ahmed Badi is a professor at the International University of Malaysia, where he has taught numerous courses spanning various disciplines. he graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Portland State University, USA, in 1982. Thereafter, he continued his education at Islamic University of al-Madinah al-Munawarah where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Usuladdin and Da'wah with honors. He went on to further his studies at Madinah University obtaining his Master's degree in 1990, and then his Doctorate in Usuluddin in 1994, both with honors. Dr. Jamal specializes in islamic Theology, Da'wah, and Creative Thinking from an Islamic perspective, in which he has written several books, research papers, and articles.
