The art of homonyms has never been singled out for versification before; therefore, Professor Dr. Abd al-Aziz Al-Harbi has classified a verse on it, collecting numerous models and examples of homonyms, intending it to be an introduction for the language student to delve into its jurisprudence and subtleties. Homonyms are one of the beauties of the faculty of languages, and they have benefits for language and life. Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Harbi mentioned twenty-some benefits of them in the introduction to the verse, and linguists and scholars of Islamic law are unanimously agreed upon their occurrence, and they should not have differed over them.
